Todd Christopher is the Director of Online Family Media for the National Wildlife Federation, where he oversees Green Hour® and the websites of NWF's award-winning Kids & Families publications. A writer, educator, and media producer, he has been developing compelling content for kids and families since 1995, when he joined AOL's Learning & Culture Channel. Becoming part of NWF's publications team in 2002 allowed him to blend his new media experience with his lifelong love of the natural world. He enjoys hiking and biking and considers himself a birder, even though he can't tell one fall warbler from the next. He and his family make a Green Hour part of their daily routine, and you often can find him outdoors with his young son and daughter who can't get enough of tree climbing, rock collecting, leaf jumping, and berry picking.

John Dawson
Illustrator

John Dawson has been a natural history illustrator for nearly thirty years, and now creates the artwork for Green Hour's Discovery Journal. You may have seen his realistic paintings in Ranger Rick, on the long-running Nature of America stamps issued by U.S. Postal Service, or maybe even at the trail head of a national park. His love of nature is evident in his work, which captures the beauty and the wonder that can be found right outside your front door. He lives on the Big Island of Hawaii, where every hour is a Green Hour!

Anne Keisman
Online Media Coordinator

Anne handles the day-to-day production of greenhour.org and the weekly e-newsletter. She is managing editor of the Green Hour blog and uses Twitter, Flickr and all kinds of social media to spread Green Hour's message. She was editor and reporter for a weekly newspaper before joining NWF, and wants to use her journalistic skills to bring greenhour.org to as wide an audience as possible. Most of her life she lived in cities – and she loves discovering nature in unusual places: from dandelions sprouting from sidewalk cracks to sparrows chirping in the rafters of Home Depot.
